My Story
I was always a saver. My first money memories was checking arcade coin returns at 5 years old, coming home with more quarters than I started with. My parents shaped my mindset early—my dad said he wanted enough money to never worry about spending, while my mom told me the wealthy think about their money, invest, and grow it. I was hooked.

In high school and college, I worked summers, saved aggressively, and dabbled in stocks before realizing long-term investing fit me better. After an injury my junior year of College, I chose to graduate early—I didn’t want college to be the “best years of my life.” I wanted the next 60 years to be just as good, and I believed money would give me that freedom.

At 20, I graduated with $30k saved and invested it all into a real estate startup where I quickly became VP of Acquisitions. I thought this would be my ticket to wealth - years of grind, growth, and uncertainty I burned out. During that time, I discovered the Financial Independence movement. I saved relentlessly, hit $100k by 22, and later learned the power of budgeting—not just to save, but to spend without guilt on the things I truly valued.

My wife and I built a life around intentional spending. That foundation let me help friends and family with their finances and realize how much I loved coaching others. When I was laid off in March 2025, I took it as a sign to go ALL in. Now, I’m pursuing financial coaching full-time - helping people build lives they’re excited to live.
